Camp Freedom is the annual weekend camp for anyone with developmental disabilities age 10 and older. This camp includes all typical camp experiences modified as needed for the individual camper. Due to camp cancellation this summer, Country Lake is partnering with the Deaf & Disabilities ministry of Southeast Christian Church, to offer Camp Freedom Family Day Camps as an alternative to Camp Freedom. Families will have the opportunity to experience many of the famed traditions of camp including worship, activities, swim time, canoeing and kayaking and even a camp fire. Come for one day or make it a two day adventure. Either way, it is an opportunity for all families to make new memories that will last a lifetime.

In an environment where so many events and plans have been cancelled or rescheduled, we believe programming with the family in mind is one of the best methods for a responsible and safe event.  The safety of our guests and campers has always been our number one priority and, like so many others, we are increasing our already high standard of cleaning, implementing sanitization protocols at our adventure elements and providing handwashing stations around the property to promote healthy interaction.

We will continue to strive to offer such an environment while diligently considering the guidance of the CDC, our local and state Health Department and a host of other camp leaders across the country who value the safety of our guests.
