Middle School Camp is for students going INTO the 6th, 7th or 8th grades in the Fall of 2017. There are some exciting changes this year as Southeast Christian has partnered with Christ In Youth (CIY) MIX for Middle School Camp! While the experience of being at Country Lake remains the same, there will be some adjustments in the registration process. Registration now live for MIX at southeastmsm.org. (NOTE: This is a different registration site than in past years.)

During the registration process campers will have the chance to select extra activities as part of their camp experience but this is optional. The extra activities include the mega zip line, paintball and archery with descriptions below. Mega Zip Line ($10): Campers will climb the 35 foot tower and then get hooked in for a 1,000 foot flight. That’s the length of three football fields! The Mega Zip is always a big hit with campers! Paintball ($25): Junior High campers have the opportunity to play real-life scenarios on the paintball field where they will work together, compete together and enjoy (most of the time) stepping onto the field of battle to create memories that will last a lifetime. Archery($5): Archery is becoming a very popular sport with middle school students around the country and we are bringing it back as a true, traditional camp activity. Campers will learn some basic technique training and have the opportunity to improve their skills with close supervision and instruction from a trained staff member.  Whether your camper is a novice or a beginner, archery is sure to hit the spot.

Volunteer leaders are always needed and play a huge role in summer camp.  The process for applying to volunteer as a junior counselor, adult counselor or leader goes through the ministry team.  The contact for Middle School Ministry Camps is Curtis Zehner and can be reached at 502.253.8507 or at czehner@secc.org
